Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll Functional Consultant
Location: Newark, NJ
Duration: 6 months (with potential extension)
We are seeking an experienced Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll Functional Consultant to lead business requirement documentation, configuration, and testing of Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll applications. This role involves implementing and optimizing Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll to enhance business processes, with a focus on best practices, process design, and stakeholder collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Lead project lifecycle activities, including business requirements, solution design, testing, and deployment.
- Conduct workshops, facilitate discussions, and drive business decisions.
- Configure payroll rules, troubleshoot payroll issues, and support post-go-live activities.
- Deliver product training and support integrations between Payroll and third-party/custom solutions.
- Ensure compliance with North American payroll regulations and execute payroll parallel testing.
- Create functional designs, configuration workbooks, and perform data conversion from legacy systems.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience:
- 10+ years in HCM Payroll solutions, including 5+ years as a Functional Lead in Oracle HCM Cloud North America Payroll implementations.
- 3-5 full lifecycle implementations of Oracle HCM Cloud Payroll, Absence Management, and Time & Labor.
- Skills:
- Expertise in Oracle Cloud Payroll configuration, payroll processing, troubleshooting, and reporting (BI Publisher, OTBI).
- Knowledge of tax regulations, payroll integrations, and data conversions.
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration skills.
- Certifications: Oracle Cloud Payroll Certification (preferred).
